Responsibilities :- 1) New part development with vendors with necessary technical support.
2) Decide / improvise the manufacturing process for the components.
3) Resolve the quality problems at supplier end for new development parts / existing parts.
4) Conduct supplier evaluation/assessment audits.
5) Monitor and improve supplier process capabilities.
6) Execute projects for process improvement at supplier end.
7) Reduce supplier rejection /PPM levels.
8) Monitor and improve supplier performance rating.
9) Handle customer warranty related issues at supplier end for further improvements.
10) Plant and conduct product and process audit at supplier end.

Candidate Profile :- Mechanical Engineering Graduate FROM REPUTED ENGINEERING COLLEGES
5-7 years of experience preferably within the automotive industry
Should have experience in STA (Supplier technical assistance) /SQA (Supplier quality assurance) / Vendor development
Should be well conversant with SPC /MSA / 7 QC tools / FMEA /PPAP etc.
Should have exposure to ISO/TS QM Systems.
Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Automotive & Commercial Vehicle market.
Performance Measures:
Reduction in Supplier PPM, improvement in SPR
Reduction in customer complaints/field failures due to supplier quality issues.
