Ensure high availability of all electrical equipment and systems in the power plant

Minimize cost of maintenance of the plant and optimize equipment lifecycle cost

Supervision of maintenance measures in electrical maintenance division and ensuring quality of maintenance

Ensure availability of spares and other infrastructure for maintenance

Minimize response time to the customer (i.e. Operations) for handling routine day-to-day problems

Ensure compliance with safety and statutory requirements- ISO 9000/14000 / OHSAS and company standards.

Optimise Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR)

Plan resource requirements for electrical maintenance manpower, materials and contracts

Network with other electrical maintenance teams in the plant and at other locations to capture learning and knowledge sharing

Coordination with R&M for equipment up-gradation and coordination with OS and engineering

Grid coordination with RLDC/REB

To perform all activities related to electrical maintenance and operation & maintenance of utilities and services.

To prepare overall plan to carry out maintenance activities.

To ensure maintenance activities are carried out as per planning.

To prepare preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance and overhauling schedules & follow-up of the progress.

To plan for the availability of spares parts, consumables, materials etc and raise the requisition for the same.

To prepare proposals for the improvement in the system.

To co-ordinate with operations & carry out proper maintenance of equipments & utilities.

To ensure all safety norms are followed while carrying out maintenance.

To analyze the downtime and take corrective activities through modifications for maintenance free operation.

To functionally oversee & control the activities of shift maintenance.

Responsible for all activities related to house keeping, safety, ISO etc.

-Should be a Graduate in Engineering in Electrical

-Should be 20+Yrs of Experience

-Should have handled Super Critical Power Plant

-Should have experience in Operation & Maintenance of Large Thermal Power Plants.

-Should be willing to relocate to Sasan-Madhya Pradesh
