The client is an engineering Consultancy based in Silchar Assam.
They require:
Pipeline Installation Manager
University or college degree in relevant area. (Backgound Pipeline/Mechanical/Construction Engineer)
Minimum 10 years experience in Oil & Gas, especially Offshore and Onshore Gas Pipeline projects.
Involved in 1 - 3 similar projects as Nam Con Son 2 Project.
Proven experience and working knowledge of all areas including a leadership role.
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment with work in Asia and/or Vietnam an advantage.
Good in IT skill: Office, CAD or simulation programs ...
Ready to adopt a flexible work approach, self motivated and able to work without supervision.
*Responsibility: Report directly to Pipeline Delivery Manager; manage directly Local Engineers during the pipeline installation period; support Pipeline Engineering Leader and QA/QC Manager.

Construction Management
Management onshore/offshore pipeline installation comply with requirements across the project
- Monitor overall construction activities and schedules, to identify any problem, deviation, non-conformance, delay in construction progress and actions to be taken;
- Assist the CLIENT to coordinate with any parties to ensure the technical integrity and timely completion, prepare and organize progress technical and interface meetings with EPCC CONTRACTOR(S) and other parties to timely resolve problems;
- Review and comment on the construction activities plan and strategies, procedures and practices, taking into account of the interfaces between different portions of project to ensure that all the construction works are planed properly and in compliance with applicable codes/standards, regulatory requirements and good construction practice, including emergency and security plans;
- Assist the CLIENT to check construction personnel certificates, equipment calibration certificates;
- Ensure that construction documentation procedures are developed and implemented;
- Monitor EPCC CONTRACTOR(S)s manpower and equipment mobilization and assignment to ensure the adherence with construction schedule and quality requirement;
- Assist the CLIENT to monitor and audit construction activities and construction progress to ensure compliance with required standards, specifications, and workmanship requirements and schedule compliance;
- Constantly monitor PROJECT actual progress, to notify the EPCC CONTRACTOR(S) in a timely manner of any delay that can lead to the delay of PROJECT completion; Carry out the regularly site inspection visit to ensure the construction works have been implemented properly by the EPCC CONTRACTOR(S) with the good industrial practices, and in compliance with the approved design, requirements of contract specifications and the applicable code/standards. The Site Inspection Reports shall be highlighted all of critical items and/or non-conformances shall be issued by the CONSULTANT as working results;
3. Other Responsibilities/Duties
- Preparing Week/Monthly Report and summit to Project Manager.
- Checking at SITE if required by Project Manager or CLIENT.
