Job Description Key Skills: DGM – Internal Audit, Financial audit, Operational Audit, Internal Audit, Risk Assesment
Detailed Job Profile Planning and Execution Analyse previous audit report deficiencies; Understand root cause; Identify potential loopholes; Create the scope of Audit; Finalise with Head-Audit; Prepare Annual Audit Programme; Set up annual deployment schedule for the audit team; Suggest appropriate recommendations to Management in order to formulate long term audit strategies. Internal process control (SAP) Carry out independent audit of all treasury and Finance Functions; Identify Idle funds in the system; Analyse reasons; Carry out detailed studies on finance & interest costs; Recommend corrective actions; Submit findings to the CFO & MD in order to optimise utilisation of funds. Safeguarding the Assets of the company Deploy audit Team as per annual programme; Obtain audit reports; Analyze and identify gaps in audit procedures; Guide audit team w.r.t to future approach; Guide the team in reconcilliations post audit; Carry out independent audit of used car operations ; Verify price realisation of used cars; Conduct surprise checks at branches; Notify concerned HOD for systemic loopholes; Recommend measures to close such gaps; Appraise management of all such instances in order to safeguard assets of the company. Risk Assessment Understand the analysis on potential risks for current and physical assets submitted by team; Identify ways to mitigate the risk; Escalate loopholes to management; Recommend corrective measures in order to reduce potential risk. Disaster recovery management review & value added strategies Identify the possible natural disasters for the next year; Study implications; Prepare a plan for disaster recovery in such cases; Build supporting mechanisms in order to have a suitable back up plan for disaster recovery management. Cost Control Suggest potential areas for Cost Reduction ; Undertake individual assignments; Allocate responsibilties to team members; Direct and guide the implementation & closure of cost reduction activities; Study HOD recommended vendors & price-lists of vendors; Guide the procurement committee to finalise price with vendors / insurance agencies in order to reduce costs. Special Assignment & Investigation Undertake special assignments from MD and Head-Audit ; Carry out investigations; Conduct fact finding study; Submit report to Management ; Recommend steps to plug potential loopholes in order to reduce instances of activities of fradulent nature.
