QUALIFICATION GRADUATE MECHANICAL /CHEMICAL ENGINEER

Job Location at HO in Delhi

Candidates should have the ability to lead a group of Engineers, Designers and Drafting personnel independently in Piping design and drawings of Chemical/ Petrochemical industry including

Developing Piping Material Specifications and Pipe line specification index
Developing Plant Layout, Equipment Layout and Piping Layout
Carrying out computer aided stress analysis - knowledge of CEASER II is essential
Checking and approving Layouts/ Isometrics / MTOs / Support drawings prepared by others
Preparing Material Requisitions for Piping items
Technical review of offers and preparing Technical Queries, Technical Analysis of Bids
Interaction, co-ordination with and support to other disciplines
Assistance during site survey, construction, erection and commissioning
Ability to assess the man hours needed for making proposals

Knowledge of relevant Codes and Standards is essential. Experience of working with 3D Modelling software (PDS, PDMS, PlantSpace, Autoplant) is a must. In exceptional cases we can perhaprs waive the 3D modelling exposure

To be able to interact with external agencies / clients and resolve issues amicably.

Also should be able to coordinate within other company departments

Finally should be able to meet deliverables
