Job Description

We are looking out for Manager Purchase in Ajmer for handling Indian/Foreign Purchase, Vendor Development, Material Planning, Job Work (Sub-Contracting) using an ERP based System.

Challenging job requires good Communication, Negotiation, Analytical, Team Bulidng skills and the applicant should be Computer and Internet Savvy.

The assignment would also involve handling Stores. Analysizing Inventory, setting correct Reorder Levels, Ensuring

Timely Action on Shortages.

Operating knowledge of ERP System is a must (MM/Purchase Module). We are using Ramco's ERP.

Technical Background (Mechanical & Electrical) and Working experience is a must.

Ensuring Timely Delivery of material from Suppliers/Vendors at the best prices without compromise on quality.
Developing Material Planning, Sourcing Strategies
Sound Communication Skills (Telephonic, EMail, Good understanding of English for Foreign suppliers)
Developing new vendors through the use of Internet Trade Portals.
Indian Taxation (Excise,VAT,CST)
Excise and Customs Knowledge. Dealing with CHA and Forwarding Agents.
Commercial knowledge/ skills with Technical background/ experience (Mechanical) is a must.
Material Management (Inventory Control & Stores Management)
Working experience with ERP (MM Module)
Computer Handling Skills (Excel, Word, Email,Internet Searching)

Sound experience with Production Planning
Understanding of Drawings and in depth understanding of Workshop Processes for handling Sub-Contacrting and Suppliers.

Minimizing Rejections by proper Planning and Communication with Vendors.
Expertise in forumulating production plans.
