ROLE OBJECTIVE

*

To direct and control all operations of the company to ensure that business objectives are met efficiently and effectively

Areas Of Responsibility

1.

Budgeting and Business Planning

*

To assist the VP-South in preparing the annual plans for the region.

*

To assist the VP-South in preparation of annual budget for the department.

*

To participate and contribute to the development of the companys corporate strategy and to ensure that the functions contributes in Company achieving its short and long-term objectives.

2.

Business Development:

*

To be aware about the new opportunities by acquiring the information through cultivated networks and forwarding the relevant information to the business development teams and Regional Managers.

*

To coordinate with the other departments and ensure that technical details / presentations have been prepared as per the clients requirements.

*

To be a part of the client presentation team depending on the criticality of the project and target audience.

3.

Proposal Preparation

*

To develop a complete understanding of the clients requirements and forwarding it to the relevant team.

*

To assign a Project Manager (PM) to each of the projects depending on the work load, past experience and performance.

*

To prepare proposals after collating the necessary information from the necessary departments.

*

To ensure that the following content is covered in the proposal:

o

Approach and methodology for execution

o

Resource allocation

o

Time schedule

o

Technical and commercials details

o

Costing

*

To ensure that profitability of the project is as per the company policy while preparing the costing of the project.

4.

Execution :

*

To put a team together depending upon the requirements of the projects.

*

To initiate the project with a kick off meeting.

*

To ensure that all the necessary project documents are prepared, updated and maintained.

*

To periodically monitor the following:

o

Project execution plans

o

Schedules

o

List of deliverables and drawings

*

To conduct internal review meetings with the concerned PM and take suitable corrective measures.

*

To attend the client meetings along with the PM.

*

To collate feedback from clients and prepare action plans based on the received feedback to the team through the PM.

*

To reinforce the project team depending upon the work load requirements and project progress.

*

To solve problems related to the projects as and when referred by the PM.

*

To ensure that invoicing is done as per the milestones and be responsible for the receipt of the money.

*

To be knowledgeable about various rules and regulations of various bodies like Pollution Control Board, etc and ensure that they are followed during the execution of the project.

5.

Vendor Selection:

*

To be responsible for vendor selection, product selection and commissioning of services.

6.

Project Closure:

*

To ensure that all the handle documents required for the closure of a project.

*

To get the necessary clearances from the clients and the governing bodies.

*

To be responsible for the Signoff from client.

7.

Customer Satisfaction:

*

To regularly meet the key customers.

*

To ensure that customer queries and complaints are addressed in a timely manner and as per the company policy.

*

To escalate the unresolved complaints to the respective heads and expedite resolution.

*

To develop and monitor a system to collect customer feedback and analyse it in order to establish levels of customer satisfaction.

*

To suggest measures for continual improvement.

Team Development

*

To provide the necessary support to the regional team for business development and execution.

*

To recruit and motivate business-orientated teams accountable for the achievement of corporate and individual targets.

*

To ensure that comprehensive performance appraisals and development opportunities are provided in accordance with the companys strategy and policies.

*

To develop and maintain the organization culture.

*

To identify the training needs of the team and facilitate training.
