Yrs of Experience: 4-8 Yrs

DB2 UDB DBA Engineering JD:
Proficient in performing DB2 database administration on Linux / Aix
Perform all internal activities related to DB2, vendor supplied system utilities, and custom processing applications.
Experience and proficiency in database design, monitoring and troubleshooting are a must
Proficient on Installation and Configuration of DB2 UDB on Linux/Aix
Prepare Gold Image build for DB2 UDB on Linux / Aix and fix all required security fixes as per policy
Expert and experience in Shell scripting to automate DB2 repetitive tasks for monitoring and self service
Proficient in DB2 UDB 24x7 Production Support
Provide project leadership for various initiatives in the database services area.
Evaluates the Group technology environment from a DB2 perspective and recommend changes on current and future system software requirements to meet the organizations needs.
5+ years of experience in the administration of DB2 databases
Worked on Development and test database support
Expert in Backup / Restore / Load data/unload the data
Proficient in Query Tuning and Performance Tuning
