Improvements in warehousing efficiency by applying KANBAN from warehouse to company.
Inventory management by implementation of JIT concepts.
Managing cycle counting (Perpetual) of parts & thus ensuring correct book stocks for MRP runs.

Job Description
Key Result Areas
Production Planning & Control
Finalizing AOP (Annual Operating Plans) & cascading them in to monthly & daily production plans for each end product for domestic & Exports customers.
Capacity planning of various shops & Execution of production plans in accordance to customer requirements.
Coordinating with marketing, purchase & manufacturing for fulfilling the product requirements on daily, weekly & monthly basis.
Finalizing Master Production Schedule & loading in ERP, which forms basis of MRP & logistics planning.
Focussing on optimisation of process parameters and initiating process improvements for achieving bottom line objectives and productivity targets.

Production Operations
Annual/Monthly/Weekly Production Plan for Assembly shop, Heat treatment & M/c shop
Developing production plans & schedules, arranging for resources to ensure achievement of organisational targets as per budgeted parameters.
Mentoring subordinates and ensuring amicable employee relations on the shop floor.
Scheduling material to suppliers based on MRP.
Monthly & weekly plan for SPD requirements.
Daily production plan for HT & Production thru KANBAN.
Calculating capacity & deciding Make or Buy.
