1. Interaction with global customers to understand their requirements and deliver on time and on quality.
2. Evaluate different design options/ configurations.
3. Sizing calculations and reporting.
4. Carry out Finite element analysis for stress, dynamics and thermal requirements and report writing.
5. Evaluating material options.
6. Mass estimation.
7. Interaction with manufacturing agencies to evaluate options. SKILLS:
1. Nastran.
2. Patran.
3. Knowledge of aerospace design requirements.
4. Familiarity with AS quality process.
5. Strong interpersonal skills.
6. Communication.EXPERIENECE:
5 to 10 years of experience in aerospace domain, handling design/ analysis projects in the areas of wing or fuselage structures using finite element methods. Very good knowledge of finite element methods, design calculations (metallic/ composite) and hands on experience in NASTRAN. Comprehensive appreciation of airframe structural principles and theory.
